Hi, I'm John. Welcome Sign Web is a small web studio based in California, built around one idea: a local business should be able to get a good website without a sales call, a brief, a big invoice or a login to learn.

Most local businesses have one of two websites: one from years ago that nobody dares touch, or none at all, because the quotes ran into the thousands and the do-it-yourself tools ate the weekends. Neither is a good way to greet the people who are already looking for you. So the studio works the other way round. We build first, from what is already public about your business, and send you a working preview. If you like it, you keep it for one monthly price that includes everything. If not, you have lost nothing.

We use modern tools, including AI, to do the slow parts fast: drafting the first version of a site, checking it on every screen size, and making routine updates. That is how the price stays where it is. A person reviews every site before it is shown to you and every change before it goes live. When you email, a person answers.

Sites run on Google's hosting network, the same infrastructure behind many of the largest sites on the web, so your site stays up without anyone babysitting a server.

What we don't

Rankings, traffic, enquiries or sales. Nobody honest can promise those, and we would rather lose the sale than say otherwise
Online stores, booking systems, customer logins or custom software. We link to the tools you already use
Paid ads or link-building. We do the on-page work and keep your Google Business Profile accurate; that is where a local business gets the most for its money
